When many of us Berkeley Lake dwellers are asked the question “Where do you live?”, the response to our answer is very frequently “Berkeley Lake? Where’s that?” Our city, with its stunning lake, truly is a hidden gem.

So, here’s the answer to: Where is Berkeley Lake?

Our 88 acre private lake, and its surrounding City of Berkeley Lake, is northeast of Atlanta (literally straight up Peachtree Rd), just outside I-285.

It’s tucked in between Peachtree Pkwy (141), Peachtree Industrial Blvd, and the Chattahoochee River.

The location can’t be beat! We are:

• 10 minutes to I-285
• 25 minutes to Buckhead
• 14 minutes to the Doraville MARTA Station
• 8 minutes to downtown Historic Norcross

If food is your thing, within an 8 minute drive are Whole Foods, Earth Fare Market, Sprouts Market, Kathleen’s Catch Fish Market, Trader Joes in the Forum shopping complex and just a few minutes from some of the finest dining in the area. We can walk to Publix and Patton’s Meat Market.

Berkeley Lake is also a short distance from many area private schools; Wesleyan, Cornerstone Academy and Perimeter Christian Schools are within 5-10 minutes and Greater Atlanta Christian, Notre Dame and Woodward Academy North are 14-18 minutes away. Berkeley Lake Elementary School is within walking distance.

Also, the lake is directly across the Chattahoochee River from the Atlanta Athletic Club.
