I grew up in Knoxville TN and love my UT vols! \u00a0After receiving a BS in marketing from UTK, I was lucky enough to join the ranks of Nike as one of their 1st accessory sales reps. \u00a0Working with retailers across the south, my job was to help them choose the right product for their stores. \u00a0After 5 years with Nike, I helped Speedo and then adidas grow their market share in the US. \u00a0Spending 18 years at adidas was an honor. \u00a0I grew in many ways and managed large multi-million dollar sporting goods retailers along the way. \u00a0My son has now graduated in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi and Rick & I are now official “empty nesters”.<\/p>\n
Real Estate:<\/strong><\/p>\n As a mom to an only son, I said goodbye to nonstop travel in 2013 and studied for my real estate license. \u00a0Passing the test on my first try (hey, it’s hard) was a huge boost in my confidence. \u00a0Leaving the sporting goods industry and joining the world of real estate was the best decision I could have made! \u00a0Since then, I’ve received my ABR (accredited buyers representative), SRS (sellers representative specialist), CNE (certified negotiation expert) certifications, and have become Redbook certified (all about contracts in GA). \u00a0Being in corporate America taught me diligence, a tough work ethic, how to be competitive, and above all to be ethical in all I do.\u00a0 My business partner, Tracey Settlage and I are among the top 5 teams in an office of over 400 agents.\u00a0 Let me help you with your real estate needs in Georgia. \u00a0You won’t find anyone that works harder and smarter for you! \u00a0See more about our listings at www.yourNXTchapter.com<\/a><\/p>\n Photography:<\/strong><\/p>\n Photography is my way of capturing those fleeting moments in life. \u00a0Whether it’s a ballgame, a beautiful sunset, or a bunch of friends hanging out, those memories are so special and always bring smiles to your face. This is the right side of my brain activity. I can get lost in my photography. \u00a0Shooting and editing photos, learning to take better shots, and creating videos brings me joy. \u00a0My goal with my photography is to bring smiles to others as well. \u00a0Here’s a link to my website called Jricephoto.com<\/a><\/p>\n Me:<\/strong><\/p>\n Berkeley Lake<\/a> has been home for the past 25 years. \u00a0My husband, Rick and I live on an 88 acre, spring fed, crystal clear, swimming & fishing lake in the NE suburbs of Atlanta. \u00a0Our little city is about 20 miles from downtown, yet feels like you are in the North GA mountains. \u00a0We are on “vacation” every day and we never take that for granted! \u00a0It’s been a wonderful life for us and our son, Brooks. \u00a0We describe it as “Mayberry”. \u00a0My passions are photography, volunteering, reading, boating, gardening, and spending time outside. \u00a0I’m an avid walker and you’ll see me, Belle (the Munsterlander), and Blaze (the Doodle) walking the 4 miles around our hilly lake about 4 days\/week.
